Why I Became Your Neighborhood Hope Dealer

There are people on every corner dealing something. Some deal fear. Some deal discouragement. Some deal addiction, hatred, or hopelessness.

I made a decision to deal something different.

I choose to deal HOPE.

Hope is more than a positive feeling. It is the confidence that God is still working, even when life doesn’t make sense. Hope reminds us that our past does not define our future and that our failures are not the final chapter of our story.

I know this because I’ve lived it.

There was a time when my life was marked by brokenness, addiction, incarceration, poor decisions, and pain. Many counted me out. But God saw what others couldn’t see. He didn’t just rescue me—He restored me, redeemed me, and gave me purpose.

Today, I carry that hope everywhere I go.

Whether I’m preaching in a church, counseling someone in crisis, signing loan documents as a notary, speaking at a conference, writing books, or simply encouraging a stranger, my mission remains the same:

To leave every person with more hope than they had before we met.

Being a Hope Dealer isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about pointing people to the One who does.

The world doesn’t need more critics—it needs more encouragers.

It doesn’t need more division—it needs more compassion.

It doesn’t need more darkness—it needs people willing to shine the light of Christ.

That’s what being a Hope Dealer means.

So if you find yourself discouraged today, remember this:

Your story isn’t over.

Your purpose is still alive.

God is still writing your testimony.

Keep believing.

Keep trusting.

Keep moving forward.
